Our children are our heart and future and this ministry is focused on their development and understanding of our Lord Jesus Christ.  We incorporate audio and visual teaching geared to touch their interest and grow Godly morals and scriptural understanding.  We also participate in local outreach missions, camping, and youth rallies to stimulate and encourage as well as have lots of fun.

Nursery is a safe environment in which infants to children age 3 are loved and nurtured. They have age- appropriate praise music, videos, and toys.

Preschool, ages 3-5 and Children Church, ages 6-11 build nurturing relationships with the children to provide an environment for little ones to play with purpose.  We also have object lessons.  Our volunteer adult and youth staff use age-appropriate Bible stories and verses for the children to discover how to obey God's word, trust in Jesus and go into the entire world and preach the blessed gospel.

Each child is involved in activities which allow him or her to gain experience in social, emotional, and cognitive skills that establish the foundation for strong spiritual growth and values.

Ephesians 2:10 (NIV) - For we are God's handiwork created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

The youth are our future.  We believe the youth must be loved, trained and equipped in the Word of God to meet the challenges of the world.

Our youth group ranges from ages 12-18, they are moving to new heights for the cause of our Lord Jesus Christ through:

  • Bible Study
  • Drama, Singing and Music
  • Praise & Worship
  • Camps & Retreats
  • Local Outreach Ministries
  • Church Sleepovers & Fundraisers

Raising the next generation is our honor and being a part of their journey is our mission.

Matthew 25:37-40 - Then the righteous will answer him, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?" The King will reply "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."

Our process for handling general and emergency services requires the recipient to submit an application request which is reviewed by senior leadership and/or the Administrative Board for approval. All aspects of the Benevolence Ministry are carefully prayed over before any decisions are made.

Our benevolence ministry expectations are to aid in restoring the needs in our local community. We also serve our community by; supporting our local schools with supplies, partnering with local churches and reaching out to the homeless. We seek to save those that are lost, by feeding them, clothing them and giving them the Word of God.

Benevolence Minister

Luke 18:1 (NLT) - Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. (Luke 18:1 NLT)

Our intercessory prayer team called "Close Encounter" endeavors to touch God with the needs of the church, our community, our country and the world.  We believe in the gift of discernment and God has anointed CCA in this area for the working of healing, wholeness, restoration and the miraculous.  Also, prayer is very much encouraged via phone lines whenever there is an immediate need to touch in agreement.  Waiting on God in an atmosphere of agreement brings revelation, blessings and answered prayer that truly changes things.

We are delighted to be used as God directs in prayer, as He moves in situations showing His awesome power to heal, to deliver and to set free.

Deuteronomy 10:8 - At that time the Lord set apart the tribe of Levi to carry the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord, to stand before the Lord to minister and to pronounce blessings in his name, as they still do today.

The Music Ministry of Clinton Christian Assembly is a team of worshipping musicians and singers whose purpose and desire is to selflessly, inconspicuously, and with skill direct the hearts and passion of those we are leading toward God in worship. We strive to be the modern day Levites, set apart for the purpose of leading God’s people in worship. Because of the holy nature of this calling, we hold each other to high spiritual standards and seek to live lives worthy of the position and visibility God has granted us.

The Daughters of Destiny (DOD) is a fellowship designed for young women ages 18-30 to Empower, Evangelize and Equip young women of God to unlock their ordained destinies in Jesus Christ.  DOD endeavors to help young women develop and maintain an intimate relationship with Christ that will influence all aspects of their lives.

Daughters of Destiny will meet monthly starting January 2014 for times of study of the word, discussion of topics that are important to young single women and fun fellowship outings.

We are excited about this next season of opportunity to invest into the lives of our young adults.

Joel 2:28 says that it's going to happen that God is going to pour out His Spirit on all flesh and our daughters will prophesy...

They will speak the Word of God in Jesus Name!

Giving God the Glory,

Renae Fields

Scripture says, and we believe. “But you shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Ju-dae’-a, and in Sa-ma’-ri-a, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” (Acts 1:8) KJV

This is the promise of God, that the men of CCA are committed to receiving. Being empowered though the word of God to receive this power, and to be empowered by the Holy Spirit, to be witnesses wherever the Lord may lead.

The Men’s Ministry has been thought to be, the Men’s Prayer Breakfast for so many years; in so many churches. But actually, it is Ministry that is fulfilled by the men in an Assembly, or Church. Here at CCA, the men are capable and committed to serving God and this church, through the leadership of our Pastor, co-laboring in the many different ministries, serving under the will of God. We are looking forward to this new year of 2014. A year of increase in the number of men serving in ministry, a year of increased discipleship in men coming under the authority of the word of God; so God can give us His authority to operate in the earth realm. And a year of men becoming whole and complete, so that they lack nothing. We are being re-assembled together under the unction of the Holy Spirit, so that we are one, and there will be nothing that we cannot do, for the glory of God, in Jesus’s name. Amen...

Many Daughters have done well, but you excel them all! ( Proverbs 31:29)

It is with great joy that I report to regarding the Women's Ministry at CCA.

What a privilege to serve as coordinator of the wonderful women who God has placed in our ministry. From the moment we started meeting together for our ladies fellowships, I sensed a great unity in the spirit of our ladies. God has really met us right where we are during our  merging season.

During the year, we had many gatherings where the Holy Spirit visited us in so many ways. Many of our ladies have grown closer to the Lord and experienced breakthroughs in their lives. I was so blessed during our outing to the Public Playhouse; where we were so excited to witness the dance ministries that ministered.

I want to especially thank Sister Valencia for her support of the Women's Ministry in all that she does in making our ministry effective.

2014 will be a even more exciting year as we have added so many more powerful women of God who add so much to our ministry. I'm looking forward to our ladies conference this year as well as the other events that we have planned for the Women's  Ministry this year.

May God's  blessings overtake you in Jesus Name!

Seeking the Kingdom of God,

First Lady Florence Nicholas

“…if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”  Matthew 17:20 (NKJV)

2013 was an exciting beginning for our ministry.  We have a dynamic team who are committed to the girls’ spiritual growth as Christian young ladies.  This ministry offers devotion, praise dance in hip-hop, liturgical and hand mime.  In addition, we stress the following attributes: the importance of showing Christian love and respect to one another, encouragement, patience, persistence, and most of all letting God’s light shine wherever they are.

This year the girls enjoyed getting to know each other and just being themselves.  Our time together included, a fall sleepover (the theme was “serving others”), a spring garden tea party; and to end the year, a girls’ day out at the movies and lunch. We also participated in an outreach outside of Safeway. What  an encouraging opportunity to serve and pass out tracks!  It was a blessing to the recipients and us as well.  Hebrew 13:16 says “do not forget to do good to others, and share with them, because such sacrifices please God.”

In 2014, we look forward to spiritual growth and unity, as well as, expanding opportunities for the team to minister outside of our four walls.  Above all, we pray that God will take hold of their hearts, and they will become fearless leaders of Christ; not afraid to adhere to the boundaries set before them in the word of God against situations that may come their way.  They will help set the bar for their generation, and be examples to other young ladies. They will acknowledge being the apple of God’s eye. They will say that,  “NO ONE and NOTHING can take God’s place.”  They  will stand against the enemy’s seductive ways. They will “STAND” firm in what God’s word says, knowing who they are in Christ.  Trusting that “I  can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13 (NKJV)

Don’t give up, don’t give in, set your heart and mind toward the mark that God has set!  Special thanks to my co-laborers Sis. Shevonne Pack, Sis. Katina Dunn, and Sis. Krista Cannon for helping to fulfill the vision.

In Agape Love,

Sharon Evans-Johnson
